Fees and Grants
PLEASE, READ CAREFULLY
The conference fee is 300 euro for early payment, to be payed by bank transfer or credit card (paypal) within July 15th (see details at the bottom of the page). After that date the full fee is 400 euro and can be payed either by bank transfer or paypal before arrival, or cash directly at the registration desk. No credit cards can be accepted at the registration desk
Please note that the registration fee is intended bank or credit card charges excluded. For this reason the fee is increased by approximately 4% for paypal transactions and all bank expenses are to be added to the fee.
The fee includes coffee breaks, social dinner and social trip to the Sardinia Radio Telescope with lunch buffet on the day of the trip.
Social dinner and the lunch buffet will have to be payed separately for non registered guests. The price for the dinner is 50 € and for the buffet on the day of the social trip is 15 €.
EVN2014 has a limited budget for support, primarily intended for PhD students and postdocs. If you wish to apply for some support, please specify it in the registration form and send a motivated email to the LOC (loc-evn2014@oa-cagliari.inaf.it) by June 10. This email should contain your current status (PhD student or postdoc) and the name of your supervisor, a brief description of your research topic and what sort of presentation you are willing to give to this symposium. For PhDs requiring an invitation to apply for a VISA, also a presentation letter from the supervisor is required.
Please note that the budget support will consist in a partial or a total waving of the registration fee. It will not consist in a travel support.

For credit card payment the fee is 310 € for early payment and 415 € for late. This takes into account the ~4% cost of the paypal transaction (the exact value depending on the country and the currency).
